Forest School

Forest School inspires and teaches children through positive outdoor learning experiences that help them to discover the world around them. Our children are given opportunities that enhance their capacity for learning as well as developing independence, self-confidence and responsibility.

It is widely believed that Forest School can play a critical role in child development and our Forest School offers a holistic approach to learning where children’s developmental needs are met on every level. It benefits all children by stretching and building on previous knowledge and understanding; Forest School gives children the opportunity and time to work through learning processes.

Children are encouraged to use their own initiative to solve problems and co-operate with others, and teamwork is actively promoted. They learn skills through hands on experiences that enable them to become self-motivated learners who can reach their personal potential. Forest School also allows children to discover the natural environment and develop a relationship with it through a variety of activities.
