OPAL CO-ORDINATOR post, Grade 4 (points 7 – 10) £20,092 - £21,322 per annum pro rata

The governors of St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a OPAL CO-ORDINATOR on a permanent contract. The days and hours of work are Monday – Friday inclusive, 12.15pm – 2.00pm, term time only. If you would like to become a member of our successful school team and you:

Combined Post fixed term linked to maternity leave

Teaching Assistant (Grade 5, points 11 – 14) £21,748 - £23,080 per annum pro rata

And OPAL Play Team (Grade 2, points 2 - 3) £18,198 – £18,562 per annum pro rata

Teaching Assistant: 25 hours per week, 8:40am – 12:30pm, 15 minute morning break,

1:50pm – 3:15pm

OPAL Play: 5 hours per week, 12:30pm – 1:30pm

The governors of St Peter’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support the learning needs of various children across the key stages on a one to one basis or in a small group situation. The successful candidate will have an understanding of and empathy with the Catholic ethos of our school. This is a part time, fixed term contract linked to a maternity leave. Applicants must have successfully completed the NVQ Level 3 as a minimum qualification or have an equivalent qualification. St Peter’s is a good school with some outstanding features and we have high aspirations for every child to be a successful learner. We are looking for an inspiring TA to join our committed TA team. Experience of successfully supporting pupil learning is desirable.
 
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant/OPAL Play Team who is:
  • Highly motivated and able to inspire and motivate children to learn and achieve
  • Highly motivated and able to encourage social skills in the dining hall and at playtime
  • Able to use your own initiative to support pupil learning
  • Confident with EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • An enthusiastic team player who can communicate effectively with other TAs
  • A practising Catholic or fully committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of our school
  • and who will play a full part in promoting the Catholic mission of the school

OPAL Play Team

OPAL PLAY TEAM post (formerly Midday Supervisor)

Grade 2 (pts 2-3) £18,198 - £18,562 per annum per annum pro rata approximately £9.43 - £9.62 per hour

We are seeking to appoint a Play Team to join our hard working and dedicated staff. The post is part-time permanent, subject to a 6 months probationary period.
 
The days and hours of work are Monday – Friday inclusive, term time only, 12.30pm – 1.30pm. If you would like to become a member of our successful school team and you:

  • can contribute positively to children’s play development
  • can work well within a team
